HTML Day

Edinburgh 2026 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

About the event

Join us on Saturday, 8th August, 2026 at 2pm - 4pm UK time for two hours of writing HTML in celebration of HTML Day!

This event is open to everyone, whether or not you have any HTML experience. If you're new to coding, there will be someone here who can help you get started.

Join us

This event is being hosted by James, one of the co-organisers of the Edinburgh Homebrew Website Club.

We recommend bringing along your laptop and/or a pen and paper, depending on how you want to write your HTML.

Where to meet

Since it is is forecast to rain on Saturday, we are going to have the event indoors.

Join us at the Costa Coffee in Waverley Mall for the event.

The coffee shop is on the upper floor of Waverley Mall, above the Post Office. The Costa we are meeting at is not the one in the train station next to the platforms.

James will be sitting with his laptop somewhere in the coffee shop. Look out for someone with a single sticker of a cat on their laptop :)
